📖 How to Compute Your PhilHealth Contribution

Under PhilHealth Circular No. 2024-0001 and RA 11223, the premium contribution for all direct contributors is 5.0% of the Monthly Basic Salary (MBS). The calculation follows these essential rules:

Salary Floor: ₱10,000

Members earning ₱10,000 or below pay a fixed total premium of ₱500.00 per month (₱250 employee, ₱250 employer).

Between ₱10k & ₱100k

Monthly Basic Salary is multiplied by 5.0%. Formally employed members share the cost 50/50 with their employer.

Salary Ceiling: ₱100,000

Earnings above ₱100,000 are capped at a maximum ₱5,000.00 total monthly contribution (₱2,500 employee, ₱2,500 employer).

Formula for Formally Employed Members:

Total Monthly Premium = Monthly Basic Salary × 5.0%
Employee Deduction = Total Monthly Premium ÷ 2
Employer Contribution = Total Monthly Premium ÷ 2

Married female registrants should also bring their PSA Marriage Certificate.

How do I book a PhilHealth online appointment?

Visit the official PhilHealth Online Appointment System (appointment.philhealth.gov.ph).
